EXPLAIN THE AUDIENCE. MINIMIZE PRESSURE. PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Age-appropriate design should make sharing states understandable, avoid manipulative engagement patterns, and provide a visible way to ask for help.
- Private work should not become public by surprise
- Controls should use language young people can understand
- Reporting and blocking paths must be available with the features they govern
